The P50 Self-Service 6kg powder fire extinguisher is crafted from durable and corrosion-resistant materials. This exceptional extinguisher comes with an exclusive 10-year warranty and eliminates the need for annual servicing by a dedicated engineer. Instead, a simple set of instructions allows you to personally conduct an annual inspection to ensure everything is in order.

Perfectly suited for workshops, construction sites, and various other environments, this versatile 6kg powder fire extinguisher is effective against Class A, B, and C fires. It's also designed for safe use on electrical equipment, rigorously tested up to 1000V. With an impressive fire rating of 43A 233B C, the self-service P50 extinguisher proudly bears the BSI Kitemark and holds coveted UKCA, EN3, PED, and MED approvals. Additionally, it comes complete with a standard wall-mounting bracket for hassle-free installation.

Manufactured in Great Britain by Britannia, each P50 Fireworld fire extinguisher is practically indestructible, constructed with polyethylene and Aramid fibre (Kevlar®). This renders it impervious to corrosion, distinguishing it from standard steel extinguishers. This durability allows for both indoor and outdoor use while maintaining a lightweight build.

With an impressive 20-year lifespan, it requires a factory refurbishment at the 10-year mark, contributing to waste reduction and being fully recyclable at the end of its service life. Conducting maintenance on the 6kg Powder P50 Fire Extinguisher is a straightforward process, thanks to clearly outlined instructions on the back. Maintenance can be effortlessly logged using a marker pen, plus there is an app available for Google and Apple devices which you can use to register and log annual maintenance. The extinguisher features a pressure regulation gauge, complemented by a second gauge for added assurance.

Additionally, a special magnet is provided to verify the functionality of both gauges.

Suitable for the home, small kitchens and workshops, cars, cars, caravans, boats, truck cabs, and portable buildings.

Types of fire include Class A (wood, paper, cloth, etc), B (flammable liquids), C (flammable gas), and fire involving electrical equipment (tested to 1000V).

Anticipated lifespan with indoor use and proper maintenance - 10 years, with an additional 10 years after factory refurbishment.

Please Note: You should still have your new P50 Self-Service extinguishers commissioned and installed by an extinguisher technician.

British Standard 5306-8:2012 for the Selection and Positioning of Portable Fire Extinguishers

5.4.3 Use of powder extinguishers

The discharge of a powder extinguisher within buildings can cause a sudden reduction of visibility and can also impair breathing, which could temporarily jeopardize escape, rescue or other emergency action. For this reason, powder extinguishers should generally not be specified for use indoors, unless mitigated by a health and safety risk assessment.
