4kg Launcher Fire Extinguisher – Automatic Powder

Working just like an ordinary fire extinguisher when you’re there but automatically tackling a fire by itself when no-one is around, the 4kg Launcher Powder Fire Extinguisher is the first of its kind. Filled with ABC powder with a 13A 70B fire rating, the extinguisher forms part of the Ceasefire range, is LCPB approved, and is CE Marked. It can be used for Class A, B, and C fires, in addition to those involving electrical equipment.

How does the Launcher Fire Extinguisher Work?

Operating just like an ordinary fire extinguisher would, you can use the traditional handle and hose to tackle the flames – squeezing the handle and aiming the hose as necessary. But, just what happens if the fire becomes too big for you to stay and tackle, or for those times when you are not there?

Well, it will also automatically activate when the temperature rises above 68°C – allowing for 24-hour protection from fires. Taking firefighting to a brand-new level, the extinguisher comes complete with two heat sensors for guaranteed performance. Depending on the location of the fire, the 4kg powder extinguishant is sprayed out of one or both of the side valves – providing coverage for a 3.3M² area.

In any instance where the flames get too big to handle, the extinguisher can even take over firefighting. In the event a large fire occurs, the firefighter can launch the fire extinguisher in the direction of the flames. It will then automatically activate and convert into a suppression system.

Suitable for high-risk areas unoccupied overnight and weekends, including workshops, garages, boats and small industrial units.

Types of fire include Class A (wood, paper, cloth, etc), B (flammable liquids), C (gas - but never put out a gas fire if the gas cannot then be turned off) and safe around live electrical equipment.

Anticipated lifespan with indoor use and proper maintenance - 10 years.
