The P50 Self-Service 2kg Powder Fire Extinguisher is backed by a reassuring 10-year manufacturer’s guarantee for enduring peace of mind. Ideal for vehicles, workshops, and residential settings, it comes complete with a secure transport bracket for easy installation in your van or lorry. Say goodbye to yearly service engineer visits, saving you valuable time and money, as you can personally conduct the annual inspection using the straightforward provided instructions.

This versatile 2kg Powder Fire Extinguisher is effective against Class A, B, and C fires, and is non-conductive, making it safe for use around live electrical equipment. Boasting a fire rating of 13A 55B C, the self-service P50 extinguisher proudly bears the BSI Kitemark and holds UKCA, EN3, PED, and MED approvals.

Manufactured in Great Britain by Britannia, each P50 Fireworld extinguisher is crafted with polyethylene and Aramid fibre (Kevlar®), rendering it nearly indestructible. Unlike standard steel extinguishers, it won't corrode, allowing for indoor and outdoor use while maintaining a lightweight yet exceptionally durable construction. With a remarkable 20-year lifespan, it requires a factory refurbishment at the 10-year mark, contributing to waste reduction and being fully recyclable at the end of its service life.

Inspecting the 2kg Powder P50 Fire Extinguisher is a breeze, thanks to clear instructions printed on the back for your guidance. Maintenance can be easily logged using a marker pen, plus there is an app available for Google and Apple devices which you can use to register and log annual maintenance. The extinguisher is equipped with a pressure regulation gauge and an additional one for double-checking, along with a special magnet for verifying the functionality of both gauges.

Suitable for the home, small kitchens and workshops, cars, cars, caravans, boats, truck cabs, and portable buildings.

Types of fire include Class A (wood, paper, cloth, etc), B (flammable liquids), C (flammable gas), and fire involving electrical equipment (tested to 1000V).

Anticipated lifespan with indoor use and proper maintenance - 10 years, with an additional
10 years after factory refurbishment.

Please Note: You should still have your new P50 Self-Service extinguishers commissioned
and installed by an extinguisher technician.

British Standard 5306-8:2012 for the Selection and Positioning of Portable Fire Extinguishers

5.4.3 Use of powder extinguishers

The discharge of a powder extinguisher within buildings can cause a sudden reduction of visibility and can also impair breathing, which could temporarily jeopardize escape, rescue or other emergency action. For this reason, powder extinguishers should generally not be specified for use indoors, unless mitigated by a health and safety risk assessment.
