Designed for large wet and dry riser systems and fire hydrants, the 4-way inlet breeching valve allows for easy connection to multiple water supplies to ensure a steady flow of water throughout the building for the fire brigade. Manufactured in accordance with BS5041, the inlet breeching valve would be installed outside your building for easy access by the fire brigade or other personnel during a fire emergency.
With a standard PN16 flange – you can tell by the 8 bolt holes at the base of the valve – the 4-way inlet breeching valve is suitable for installation in a vertical or horizontal position. Complete with caps and chains, the inlet valve has 4x BS336 2½” instantaneous male non-return valve inlets, a 152mm PN16 outlet flange and a 1” drain valve.
Constructed of cast iron with copper alloy inlets, it is extremely durable and suitable for the tough and demanding job of helping fight fire on your premises with a working pressure of 10 bar and tested to a pressure of 20 bar.
