Revolutionising fire safety, the P50 Self-Service 9kg powder fire extinguisher eliminates the need for annual service visits from an extinguisher engineer. Instead, you can effortlessly perform the necessary checks using the provided simple instructions. Crafted from a lightweight yet exceptionally sturdy and corrosion-resistant material, your P50 fire extinguisher comes with a standard 10-year warranty.

Ideal for combating Class A, B, and C fires, this extinguisher is rigorously tested to 1000V, ensuring safe use on electrical equipment. It comes complete with a convenient wall-mounting bracket. Tailored for construction sites, workshops, garages, factories, and anywhere else with flammable liquids, the P50 9kg Powder extinguisher boasts an impressive fire rating of 55A 233B C. This self-service fire extinguisher proudly displays the BSI Kitemark and holds esteemed UKCA, EN3, PED, and MED approvals.

Manufactured in Great Britain by Britannia, each P50 Fireworld fire extinguisher is virtually indestructible, thanks to its construction of polyethylene and Aramid fibre (Kevlar®). This ensures it won't succumb to corrosion, setting it apart from standard steel extinguishers. Its durability makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments, all while maintaining a lightweight yet incredibly robust build. With an extraordinary 20-year lifespan, it requires factory refurbishment at the 10-year mark, contributing to waste reduction and is fully recyclable at the end of its service life.

Conducting maintenance on the 9kg Powder P50 Fire Extinguisher is straightforward, thanks to clear instructions printed on the back. You can effortlessly log the maintenance using a marker pen, plus there is an app available for Google and Apple devices which you can use to register and log annual maintenance. The extinguisher is equipped with a pressure regulation gauge and an additional one for added assurance. Additionally, a special magnet is provided to verify the functionality of both gauges.

Suitable for workshops, factories, warehouses, building sites, boats, and anywhere with flammable liquids or gases.

Types of fire include Class A (wood, paper, cloth, etc), B (flammable liquids), C (flammable gas), and fire involving electrical equipment (tested to 1000V).

Anticipated lifespan with indoor use and proper maintenance - 10 years, with an additional 10 years after factory refurbishment.

Please Note: You should still have your new P50 Self-Service extinguishers commissioned
and installed by an extinguisher technician.

British Standard 5306-8:2012 for the Selection and Positioning of Portable Fire Extinguishers

5.4.3 Use of powder extinguishers

The discharge of a powder extinguisher within buildings can cause a sudden reduction of visibility and can also impair breathing, which could temporarily jeopardise escape, rescue or other emergency action. For this reason, powder extinguishers should generally not be specified for use indoors, unless mitigated by a health and safety risk assessment.
