Featuring four sharp steel blades, the forestry rake is used for creating rake fire lines and cutting through roots and brush for wildfire control and general maintenance. With each V-shaped tine serrated and made of a heat-treated steel, the rake features a long fibre glass handle which is corrosion and rot resistant, allowing you to fight fires from a safe distance.
Used to move undergrowth and loose surface debris, the fire rake allows you to create an effective fire break by raking burning material back to an already-burned area. This then prevents the spread of flames and allows the fire to burn itself out.
With the steel rake head secured in place with a screw to ensure it stays in position when in use, the rake features a removeable head which allows for easy transportation to remote locations. Ideal for farms, camp sites, country walking routes, holiday parks, and other outside spaces, the fire rake allows you to effectively tackle small grass fires before they escalate in severity and size.
