Barrier Fencing & Pins
Barrier Fencing & Pins
Temporary worksites and construction projects deserve the same security and adaptability as a permanent one; you just might have to go about it in a different way. To outline site boundaries, manage queues, restrict unauthorised access and mark out hazardous areas, you’ll need a solution for installing fencing and barriers that is highly flexible, easy to secure, and reliable in whatever conditions you might face. Our range of Barrier Fencing and Pins can fulfil these needs with ease, providing both the fencing itself, and whatever you might need to fix it in place.
We offer a variety of barrier styles and colours, from mesh fencing to plastic barrier chains and even reflective tapes for placing over pre-existing but less obvious fences. All of these options are designed with flexibility, durability, and visibility in mind, making them perfect for marking out areas of any size in a way that is unmissable and ready to withstand a range of harsh conditions.
And we keep things simple when it comes to actually fixing these barriers. We mainly supply steel fencing pins, but these accommodate most of our fencing options perfectly, with others not needing fixing but are more suited to being placed over any kind of pre-existing fencing to enhance its visibility.
Whatever you need, we’re ready to provide it with unbeatable prices and guaranteed next day delivery.
What if fencing pins won’t work?
It’s entirely possible that your site doesn’t accommodate the installation of our steel fencing pins. This is most likely due to there being no soft ground near enough to hammer them into, but don’t worry! Many of our barrier fencing options do not require fencing pins to be set up. Our reflective fence strips, for example, come with built in eyelets and are supplied with cable ties, allowing them to be secured to a variety of features. And then there’s barrier tape as well, which you can simply stretch out across gaps to form the barrier as long as you have the adhesives needed to secure it.
Many of the options you’ll find here, however, particularly our netted plastic fencing, require our steel fencing pins or a similar product. But some of these options do, or at least may require something other than fencing pins, and that might not even be because of the ground you’re working with. Traffic cones are what we would recommend in these cases, for which we have a wide range for you to browse separately.
Matching the fencing to the fixing
Almost all of our barrier fencing products can be securely fixed with our steel fencing pins. These pins are highly durable and extremely easy to install by hammering them into soft ground. This is the perfect accompaniment to mesh or chain fencing, but it is still good to use with high-visibility tape or other options.
Reflective strip and tape barriers are more suited to taller, wider fencing that is already in place and would benefit from increased visibility. This is why you may often see grey or black metal fences with striped tape wrapped around them. We also have ranging line, which is useful for marking out rigid boundaries. While it is popular to secure ranging line with ground pegs, our steel fencing pins will do just fine.
I’m not sure if you have the length of fencing I need?
Actually, we do! Looking at our netted barrier fencing, plastic barrier chains and barrier tape, you may feel we have a limited selection of length options. Which is why you’ll be pleased to know that most of our fencing solutions are easy to cut down to the length you need, and in many cases are equally easy to join together to form greater lengths.
Take the netted fencing as an example again. It can be cut easily with standard scissors, but if the excess length isn’t too much you simply wrap it further around the fencing pins. And then take the plastic chain fencing as well, which is extremely easy to connect to form larger fencing as part of our Post & Chain Barrier Kits.
So don’t worry if our length options don’t seem immediately suitable. These are standard measurements, and our barrier fencing is always designed with these issues in mind.
