Shield Anchor Bolt - Tarmac and Concrete Fixing
A universal fixing designed for road applications involving tarmac and concrete, the Shield Anchor Bolt - Tarmac and Concrete Fixing is manufactured for Vigil Products and is suited to the installation of a wide variety of street furniture and road fixtures like bollards and speed bumps. The flexibility of this product should simplify your inventory for roadworks noticeably, and the extra-long lifetime facilitated by a hot-dip galvanised finish goes a long way to reinforce this.
This fixing is enhanced by an overall heavy-duty design and oversized plug to help distribute forces, as well as an also oversized flanged head for the bolt, which gets rid of the need for a washer in most applications. All this is brought together by a comprehensive interlocking plug design that gives maximum traction on tarmac, making it suitable for an impressive variety of road-based and traffic-related applications.
We offer both 120mm and 150mm in depth options for this product, the shorter version being more suited to installations such as speed bumps, while the longer version is recommended for heftier jobs such as parking stops. So, if you need something reliable and flexible to help you in the installation of common road features and furniture, then the shield anchor bolts for tarmac and concrete fixing are just for you.
We offer two depth options for this product, both better suited to different uses than the other. The shorter option is 120mm and is good for installing things like speed bumps, while the longer version is 150mm and lends itself to heavier-duty jobs such as parking stops. Reliable, flexible, and affordable, if you’re eyeing the development of any traffic-related infrastructure, then you can’t go wrong with these shield anchor bolts.
Instructions for use: Firstly, you need to mark out the hole for the fixing, then drill the hole 16mm wide, with a depth to match the depth of the plug (with our options this is going to be a minimum of 120mm). Make sure the hole is clean of any dust or debris before knocking the plug into it, then you can position the item you want to secure over it before placing and tightening the coach screw.
