Designed for final exit doors, the push bar panic bolt makes it easy for everyone to make a quick exit in an emergency, no matter how familiar they are with your premises. Also known as panic bars or crash bars, the vertical bolt locks at the bottom and top of the door and can be reversed for use on right or left-handed doors. Additionally, the panic bolt has an anti-thrust mechanism to stop unauthorised retraction of the bolts and comes with easy-to-clean bolt sockets.
This bar is fully compatible with BS EN 1125, the silver Exidor 294 push bar panic bolt is CE marked and Certifire accredited. It has been tested and can withstand a minimum of 200,000 uses and has the standard 10-year manufacturer’s warranty. Designed for single doors made from steel or timber measuring up to 1220mm wide and 2440mm high, it’s fire-rated in accordance with EN 1634-1 manufactured in the UK to the highest quality.
