The Fire Rated Plasterboard Access Panel is the popular choice by architects because it can blend into any wall or ceiling, whilst offering access without compromise. With a two-hour fire rating in walls and one hour in ceilings, it also features draft seals.
Easy to install, the door will then be unnoticeable once plastered and painted, including the beaded metal frame too. Plus an invisible keyhole using spring-loaded mechanism will even hide the keyhole.
You can secure the Fire Rated Plasterboard Access Panel with a black T key which comes as standard, or use a Radial Pin Tumbler (RPT) lock.
The panels are also reinforced in the area around the lock, meaning that unlike other access panels, this is far less likely to succumb to damage. In the wall version, the plasterboard has a thickness of 24mm, while the ceiling version ranges between 50 and 95mm, depending on the aperture size.
To find out about other locking options, or to request a bespoke size, our customer service team will be happy to help.
Please Note: Due to the nature of this product, some sizes and ceiling versions will be made to order, and are therefore not always available on a next day service.
