This outside knob access device will help you to gain convenient access into buildings via an emergency exit. It does this without compromising security or the door’s suitability if there’s an emergency. The external knob-operated access device comes with a 45mm single euro profile cylinder and three slender silver keys.
When locked, the internal push pad or bar will still open the door during an emergency, and when unlocked it allows the outside knob access device to operate the opening mechanisms. This knob works with steel, aluminium, standard timber and uPVC doors up to 65mm thick and it’s compatible with the rest of our Exidor emergency exit hardware.
The doorknob is surface mounted on the outside of the door using concealed screws so it can’t be tampered with, while the knob is interchangeable with the alternative lever operated outside access device (OAD). This is perfect for sites with evolving needs. Built by Exidor in the UK, the silver 326EC external knob access device replaces the 302 outside access device with lever, which is no longer manufactured. CE Marked with Certifire accredited, the knob is fire-rated in accordance with EN 1634-1 and has a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty.
