With a compact design, this mains-powered heat alarm is quick and easy to install, has a rechargeable backup battery, and is recommended by fire and rescue services all over the UK. You can connect it with to up to 14 other Firehawk smoke and heat alarms to make sure your home has complete protection, and the alarm alerts the whole household regardless of the fire’s location.

Mains-Powered, Interconnectable Heat Alarm

The Fast-Fix base simplifies wiring and fixing, connecting to the 230V power supply and interlinking cable so the alarm unit can then easily be installed later. Should you have a power cut, the backup battery will kick in to ensure you’re still protected. It then recharges when the power is back on, so you’re prepared for next time.

Heat alarms work best in kitchens and are also suitable for garages and lofts as they’re unaffected by steam, fumes, and dust because of its advanced thermistor detection technology, helping to prevent nuisance alarms. The mains-powered heat alarm also benefits from an extra-large test and silence button for simple operation and has an 85 Decibel alarm that’s easy to hear.

CE Marked and approved to BS 5446-2:2003, the Firehawk mains-powered heat alarm is good for installations complying with BS 5839-6 Grade D1 and 2022 Scottish Fire Safety Legislation. This alarm works best when installed alongside the Mains-Powered Optical Smoke Alarm in your lounge, bedroom, corridor or landing.
