Ensuring that electrical installations are compliant with the latest standards while saving time, money, and lives, the 18th Edition T&E cable clips are specifically designed for flat-twin and CPC cabling (twin & earth). Available in white and grey, you’ll have plenty for large installations as there are 100 clips per pack. The fire resistant clips are suitable for securely holding cables between 1 and 10mm.
Now a requirement for ALL cable installations to be fire resistant and no longer just fire alarm wiring or cables along escape routes, it is essential that electrical cable installers are up to date with new regulations as they are ultimately responsible. These clips have been designed to prevent firefighter deaths which are caused by entrapment from falling overhead cabling.
How do the Cable Clips Work?
Three times faster to install than traditional methods, these are the fastest fire-rated cable clips to install – with less drilling and zero screwing required.
To perform the installation, simply drill a 6mm diameter hole with a 30mm depth, slide the fire clip over the cable so it is seated in the rounded area, compress the clip together, after which you can insert into the hole by hand. You can rest assured that the clip and cable will be securely held in place no matter what happens – all thanks to the advanced grip which is provided by the several ‘teeth’ featured on each clip.
Suitable for concrete, brick, masonry, blockwork, stone, wood, and plasterboard, it is recommended that the clips are installed every 300mm along a cable.
