Instantaneous Female to Male BSP Adaptor

The 2.5” Instantaneous Female to Male BSP Adapter is designed for use in various fire brigade and industrial environments, ensuring the secure connection of two different hose systems. It comes with a blank plug and chain to protect the hose from dirt and debris when not in use. The adapter features a spring-loaded plunger mechanism, activated by a turn handle, to maintain a secure connection even under pressure.

This adapter is produced for Vigil Products from lightweight alloy and adhering to BS 336 standards. On one end, there is a 2½” male thread compatible with BSP fittings, and on the other, a 2½” female instantaneous connection that fits standard BS336-type hoses commonly used by UK fire brigades, such as Type 2 and Type 3.. With a maximum working pressure of 16 bar, this coupling adapter is frequently used for linking hoses, hydrants, fire engine pumps, and other equipment, providing a quick and reliable method for joining different coupling types.
