On one side, it features a 2.5” female BSP thread, while the opposite end is equipped with a 2.5" BS336 Instantaneous Female connection, standard for UK fire brigade hoses like Type 2 and Type 3.
The adapter includes a blank plug with an attached chain to protect the hose from dirt and debris when not in use. It also incorporates a spring-loaded plunger mechanism, controlled by a turn handle, ensuring a tight and reliable connection even under pressure.
