Instantaneous Female to Female BSP Adaptor

Built to connect two hose systems seamlessly, the 2.5” Instantaneous Female to Female BSP Adapter provides a secure link between your fire brigade hoses and a threaded outlet. On one side, it features a 2.5” female BSP thread, while the opposite end is equipped with a 2.5" BS336 Instantaneous Female connection, standard for UK fire brigade hoses like Type 2 and Type 3.

The adapter includes a blank plug with an attached chain to protect the hose from dirt and debris when not in use. It also incorporates a spring-loaded plunger mechanism, controlled by a turn handle, ensuring a tight and reliable connection even under pressure. Manufactured from lightweight alloy for Vigil Products and compliant with BS 336 standards, this fire hose adapter can handle a maximum working pressure of 16 bar. It is widely used by fire brigades and in industrial environments to connect hoses, hydrants, fire engine pumps, and other equipment.
