Containing basic supplies for the treatment of cuts, grazes, sprains, and strains, the HSE catering first aid kit is a popular choice for small workplace kitchens in which minor hazards are present. The kits conforming to the Food and Hygiene Regulations contain the regulatory blue detectable plasters, all contained with other equipment in an easily identifiable robust green box which should be positioned in plain sight.
Entirely dependent on the number of employees in the workplace, this will dictate the size of the kit required. Sizes are available for 1-10, 1-20, and 1-50 persons. Employees in excess of 50 persons will require multiple kits.
The contents of each kit contain the following medical supplies: a guidance leaflet, blue plasters, bandages, dressings, wipes, safety pins, eyepads together with a pair of gloves, with number of each varying to each size.
