The 1.2m x 1.2m fire blanket is the perfect choice for tackling small fires in your kitchen. The 1.2m x 1.2m fire blanket works by smothering the fire and starving it of oxygen so it eventually burns itself out, preventing the fire from spreading. Secured within the pouch using Velcro fastening, the fire blanket can be released by simply pulling the tabs down. To use, unfold the blanket and then carefully place the blanket over the fire by holding the pull tabs.

Special Note: Beware of cheap, untested fire blankets sold on marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay. They often state "C E Standard: 1869-1997" near the top and "Made in P.R.C." near the bottom. Some of these may burn through or actually catch fire when used.
