Double Fire Hydrant Standpipe with Check Valve
Our double fire hydrant standpipe with included check valve made from quality aluminium alloy is a simple solution to bringing water above ground from a mains underground hydrant. The double head accommodates two standard UK 2.5" instantaneous outlets onto which you can securely connect multiple layflat fire hoses.
It connects to the 2.5" female BSRT outlet and is only suitable for use during a fire. It has a working pressure of 25 bar, is tested to 35 bar, and comes supplied with a blank plug and chain to protect outlets from dust and rubbish.
The check valve included is water company approved and stops water from running back through the standpipe once it has passed through. Also, don’t forget you’ll need a fire hydrant key in order to switch the flow of water on or off.
