The Conquest fire door holder is designed to provide easy access which allows you to make your premises compliant with the Equality Act. Suitable for use in conjunction with any fire alarm system, it ensures that any door fitted with a standard door closer automatically closes when the alarm is triggered. This then helps to prevent the spread of fire to reduce fire damage and potentially save lives.
With the door held open using electromagnets with a 200N holding force, the door holder can be fitted to a wall or floor mounted bracket along with a keeper plate to the back of the door. Upon alarm activation, the power is cut to allow the fire door to immediately close – all thanks to a spring-loaded pin which ensures zero residual holding force.
With both 24Vdc or 230 Vac supply voltages to choose from (please select the appropriate version for your needs), the fire door holder is the ideal choice for public access areas which includes cinemas, hospitals, schools, hotels, airports, nursing homes, and offices. CE marked and compliant with EN1155, the Conquest fire door holder from Geofire can be flush mounted or installed in conjunction with the supplied surface mount box with 20mm knockouts.
