The Chain Guard for Magnet Door Holders allows you to still hold open a fire door even when it doesn’t quite open wide enough for the door to meet an adjacent wall. Secure one end of the chain to the door, the other is then held in place by the magnetic holder to ensure the door stays open for access and ventilation, whilst ensuring it still shuts in a fire situation.
Supplied in a one-metre length, the chain can then be reduced to the desired size to bridge the gap with enough tension to keep the door open wide. Suitable for use with the acoustic battery and mains operated door holder, once activated the holder will release the chain and allow the door then shut, although please be aware the colour may vary from that shown in the image.
