The boat's 1kg ABC dry powder fire extinguisher is filled with multi-purpose ABC powder and fights any fire. With MED approval and bears the "Ships Wheel" logo so you know it's tested and suitable for marine use, as well as cars, caravans, holiday flats and boats.
Part of the FireChief range, the marine 1kg powder fire extinguisher has a 5-year warranty, CE Mark, BSI Kitemark and a hanging bracket that is designed for wall hanging or fixing in a boat, vehicle or truck.

5.4.3 Use of powder extinguishers
The discharge of a powder extinguisher within buildings can cause a sudden reduction of visibility and can also impair breathing, which could temporarily jeopardize escape, rescue or other emergency action. For this reason, powder extinguishers should generally not be specified for use indoors, unless mitigated by a health and safety risk assessment.
