6 litre Water Fire Extinguisher for Lithium Batteries

Crafted for use on fires involving lithium-ion batteries, the 6 litre water fire extinguisher is manufactured to create a cool down effect, which uses a strike-knob and extinguishing pistol and lance, making them effective even when used at a distance. Manufactued by Gloria, this cartridge-operated extinguisher is safe to use on various devices powered by lithuim-ion batteries with a capacity of up to 642Wh, making them suitable for small and medium-sized portable devices. This includes mobile phones and tools to hoverboards and small drones.

These unique extinguishers comprise a specialist water additive in a cartridge and misting nozzle, which work together to quickly cool flames and the battery, all while remaining fluorine-free. The lance empowers the user to operate from 4 metres away to prevent injuries, and also offers an impressive discharge time of up to 65 seconds.

This extinguisher features an impressive fire rating of 21A, and also has trademarks which includes CE Marking, BS EN3 Kitemark, as well as passing suitability testing for use on lithium-ion batteries. Using the extinguisher is simple: remove the safety pin, with your fist strike the knob, and aim the extinguishing lance at the base of flames whilst using the pistol grip.

Suitable for various environments including homes, offices, workshops and repair stores with cordless tools, mobile phones, laptops, electric toothbrushes, toys, etc.

A legal requirement for businesses and rental properties, it’ll often be recommended by your insurance company too. We offer the option of commissioning only, or with wall fixing, where our local engineer will certify and label the extinguisher before issuing a certificate for your compliance.
