Our 3 litre wet chemical fire extinguisher is actually a Multi-Use Foam extinguisher which is safe to use on many types of fire. Class F extinguishers, like this, are the only option when it comes to safely tackling a deep fat fire, plus it has the Kitemarked to BS EN3, CE Marked, and with MED approval. For a small commercial kitchen such as a café, restaurant or mobile catering unit, this is the perfect extinguisher.

Additionally safe to use on Class A (wood, paper, cloth, etc) and Class B (flammable liquids), this extinguisher is also safe if inadvertently sprayed on live electrical equipment as it’s been tested to 35kV. Featuring a hose to provide a safe operating distance capable of spraying the contents 2 meters away. The multi-use fire extinguisher creates a soapy film which smothers the fuel of oxygen and has a cooling effect.

As a guide for Fire Regulations, a kitchen that uses fat in its cooking must have a Class F rated wet chemical fire extinguisher.  You should also have a CO2 fire extinguisher and a fire blanket.
