With a fire rating of 13A, it’s also safe to use on Class A items including paper and cloth, so you can prevent flames from spreading rapidly.

The CommanderEDGE LFX range of extinguishers are water-based, making them Fluorine-free, and discharges as a foam which quickly absorbs intense heat. As a result, the chain reaction which leads to thermal runaway breaks down, cooling down the battery and preventing other cells from overheating.

Complete with all of the approvals you’d expect from your fire extinguisher, including the BS EN3 Kitemark, UKCA and CE Marked with MED approval, this range is also equipped with a 5-year warranty too. The 3 litre lithium battery fire extinguisher is suitable for battery capacities of up to 300Wh, so make sure to check the Watt-hour rating of the devices you’re protecting.
