24V 250mA Door Release Power Supply Unit
The Mains-derived BF375P power supply unit (PSU) is ideally designed for powering 24V DC electromagnetic door retainers directly via a Mains-derived source. Manufactured by C-TEC, this compact door release PSU has a maximum output of 250mA, meaning it can deliver power for up to 5 electromagnetic door retainers rated at 50mA each.
The non-EN54-approved PSU is IP40-rated for indoor use and allows you to hold doors in the open position under normal circumstances, so promoting necessary ventilation while automatically shutting them at pre-set times or after the first alarm sounds. This helps to ensure that exits remain clear of smoke and flame during emergencies, so limiting the damage to property and risk to life.
The 24V 250mA door release PSU from C-TEC features a durable PVC casing with a light grey label and can be surface or flush mounted on a standard 25mm UK double gang back box, making it suitable for retrofit applications.
Plus, Trigger Release, Hold Off, and Local Trigger Inputs facilitate the easy connection of the BF375P PSU to fire alarm control panels, timers, relays, building management systems, and related ancillary devices.
