24V 1.5A EN54-4 Power Supply Unit
The switch mode 24V 1.5A power supply unit (PSU) is manufactured by C-TEC and carries an EN54-4 approval, making it an ideal power source for fire alarm systems and related third-party devices. These range from aspirating smoke detectors and sounder systems to beam detectors, Automatic Opening Vent (AOV) systems, and auto-dial communicators as well as any device that fulfils an auxiliary capacity for your fire alarm system.
This BF560-24 PSU is IP30 rated for indoor use and offers several compelling features including a built-in temperature sensor and mains’ fail simulation mode plus a LED status display which indicates supply present, general fault, and auxiliary fault phases. There is also a single-pole volt-free changeover relay that switches for any fault condition and a plastic cover that guards against electrocution.
It is available with optional SLA batteries for instances where ensuring a backup power supply is a concern. The 24V 1.5A PSU fits two 12V, 3.2Ah SLA batteries and offers a choice of two battery charge currents. What’s more, deep discharge protection and EN54 compliant reporting of impedance faults also work to optimise battery life.
