Chrome 9kg powder extinguisher

Our chrome 9kg powder extinguisher is actually made from highly polished stainless steel and perfect for both the designer look wherever it is placed. Multi-purpose powder fights any fire and the body does not corrode.

Suitable for designer-look premises with many differing fire risks or corrosive atmosphere is present

Types of fire include Class A (wood, paper, cloth, etc), B (flamable liquids), C (gas - but never put out a gas fire if the gas cannot then be turned off) and safe around live electrical equipment

Anticipated lifespan with indoor use and proper maintenance - 10 years +

Special note although our chrome extinguishers are made alongside BS EN3 Kitemarked ones and with the same components, as they are not painted red, they cannot display a Kitemark or BAFE approval

British Standard 5306-8:2012 for the Selection and Positioning of Portable Fire Extinguishers

5.4.3 Use of powder extinguishers
The discharge of a powder extinguisher within buildings can cause a sudden reduction of visibility and can also impair breathing, which could temporarily jeopardize escape, rescue or other emergency action. For this reason, powder extinguishers should generally not be specified for use indoors, unless mitigated by a health and safety risk assessment.
