The medium expansion foam branchpipe is specifically designed to generate large volumes of foam, making it ideal for firefighting scenarios that require abundant and rapid foam coverage while minimizing water usage. With a maximum throw range of 12 metres, it offers a flow rate of 480 litres per minute and operates at a working pressure of 6 bar. This branchpipe is compatible with all types of foam concentrate, enabling you to effectively combat Class B fires, thanks to its foam expansion ratio of 70:1.
Despite being lightweight, it boasts a sturdy construction. Equipped with handles on each side, it is easy to grip and manoeuvre and is complete with a pressure gauge too. The lever-operated mechanism allows you to conveniently control the flow, enabling you to turn it on and off as needed. The inlet is manufactured in accordance with BS336 standards and is suitable for equipment designed for standard 2.5-inch (64mm) diameter layflat hoses. It is also fully compatible with our variable in-line foam inductor.
Featuring a corrosion-resistant design that is easy to service and repair, the body of the branchpipe is crafted from hard-anodised aluminium and stainless steel. The handle is made of injection-moulded nylon, while the valve is manufactured from aluminium for Vigil Products. The medium expansion foam branchpipe is suitable for a wide range of applications, including industrial and marine environments.
