The famous Howler fire alarm comes in two versions with either a clever call point that does not require a replacement glass when used or a simple push button. After the alarm has been set off, you just insert the plastic key (supplied with Howlers) and the plastic panel returns to its original position which also stops the alarm sounding. Or, with the push-button type, you simply press the button again and it returns to its original position.
If you have a look at the options, a Howler fire alarm can be supplied with a flashing beacon light and/or as a linkable version (only needs 1.5ml 'bell wire). Howlers are IP65 rated for outdoor use with a 118db alarm and 9v battery (supplied) and is very popular for construction sites, temporary buildings, portacabins, small workshops, etc. |
