The fire fighting layflat type 2 fire hose comes complete with wired-on alloy couplings and rubber sleeves, the hose complies with BS 6391 Type 2 with UK fire service fittings. Available in two standard lengths – 18 metres and 23 metres – each size is also available in a choice of 45mm or 64mm diameters.
Commonly used by industrial fire brigades, the red layflat type 2 fire hose is also commonly used for general industrial use, agriculture and irrigation, and wash-down applications. With a twice-vulcanised rubber inner-lining and weaved-polyester jacket, these provide better performance in abrasion resistance to prevent damage even when used in a demanding environment.
Manufactured for Vigil Products, layflat fire hose is lightweight, flexible, kink resistant and easy to clean, with a working pressure of 15 bar and burst pressure of 45 bar.
