6 litre Alcohol Resistant Foam Fire Extinguisher

By creating a protective barrier on top of the fuel, the 6 litre Alcohol Resistant foam fire extinguisher is effective and safe for putting out alcohol and polar solvent fires. By sealing in the vapour, the foam extinguishant can smother the source of oxygen whilst also cooling it down, otherwise working like an ordinary foam extinguisher on Class A (wood, paper, cloth, etc) and Class B fires (flammable liquids). It has also been tested to 35kV which means it is also safe if inadvertently sprayed on live electricals.

The 6 litre Alcohol Resistant foam fire extinguisher is cartridge operated, has a corrosion resistant finish, and is ideal in high-risk areas like airports, refineries, pharmaceutical plants, and other processing areas.  

**British Standard 5306:3 requires the commissioning of extinguishers for businesses at your premises after delivery. We offer the option of commissioning only or with wall fixing. Our engineer will certify and label the extinguisher and issue a certificate for your insurance compliance.
