For many years, the 4.5m fire escape ladder has been the choice of the home fire safety user in the UK and in the USA. Keep it in the box then, if necessary, hook around the window opening and throw the ladder out. The 4.5metre (15') is designed for first storey height.

This modern version of the rope ladder will fit a window opening up to 325mm wide with a wall thickness of up to 250mm. This style of fire escape ladder is not recommended for Dormer windows.
