The 3 litre AFFF foam fire extinguisher has a 13A fire rating making it as powerful as a 9 litre water but is a third of the size. It also has the benefit of a special 'spray nozzle' that atomizes the spray to make it safe if accidentally sprayed onto live electrics. This has made the AFFF extinguishers extremely popular for offices and shops where they are best combined with a 2kg CO2 extinguisher for electrical risks. |
